with Tara Garden and Sam Giles
This 10-week evening course is suitable for complete newcomers to print-making, giving you a chance to try different techniques, from screenprinting to drypoint etching, monotype to risograph zine-making.
You’ll learn how to use printing techniques to create your own t-shirts and zines, as well as posters and artworks. Following the course, you will have free month’s access to our screenprinting facilities (and discounted access to other facilities) as a mast ‘fellow’.
who is it for?
This course is for anyone interested in printmaking: beginners who want to get experience in a range of print techniques and develop skills they can use at home as well as in the workshop; artists and designers who want to develop their printmaking skills; those who’d like a refresher, a bit of guidance, and access to an artistic community and various facilities.
what should I bring?
All materials will be provided. If there’s anything specific you’ll need we’ll let you know close to the start of the course.
