Thom is a an award-winning writer, cook, grower and photographer, interested in fostering and documenting more-than-human ecologies through practices such as fermentation, seed-saving, and "do-nothing" gardening. He runs the online creative writing course Grounding Your Words as well as monthly workshops at Windmill Community Gardens as well as for Open School East's Despacito group as their Community Cook, exploring growing and food preservation as ways of interacting with the wider world.
