Rachel is a circular designer and consultant specialising in future-focussed concepts, innovative product development and establishing reuse loops. Her practice centres around revaluing materials and refocussing systems to better serve people and planet.

With over 13 years of experience within the product industry, developing her career through design roles at ASOS, Debenhams and Sweaty Betty, she successfully built product franchises and gained expertise in supply chains and material innovation. An independent designer since 2020, Rachel now collaborates with cross-disciplinary clients to unlock creative potential in circular sourcing streams, with designs featured at London Fashion Week, Clerkenwell Design Week and Glastonbury Festival.

In 2022, Rachel founded Label Hjem, a design studio based at The Margate School of Art, which transforms discarded post-consumer garments sourced from the UK's recycling system into fashion collections and one-of-a-kind made-to-order pieces. To share the ethos further, the label has collaborated with HOKA, Helen Kirkum, SATCoL, and Arts Council England alongside creating textile art installations and running community upcycling workshops.
